The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific visit to the Homeless Shelter Project and the Al-Sibtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders. This visit was part of an effort to enhance scientific integration and a belief in the importance of communication between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research institutions and other institutions and departments. The visit cooperated with the Holy Hussein Shrine – Strategic Projects Department. Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ibrahim Alawi, Dr. Haider Naji, Professor Faiq Fathi, and a group of engineering professors are attended and accompanied by fourth-year morning study students.
The visit aimed to examine the design and planning of the architectural projects, understand the design and planning standards and considerations related to them and study the detailed designs carefully. The visit also highlighted the relationship between design and other engineering disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering, and how to organize engineering consultations to benefit the job market and clients.
